WELL TEST CLUB
Founded in 1998 under the Petroleum Business Institute
Club Chairman – Rudolf Gindullovich Shagiev, PhD, expert in oil and gas field development
and hydrodynamic well tests, author of the book "Pressure build-up method of well-testing" (1998).
Over 3300 specialists in petroleum industry from Russia and other countries have participated
in the Club events since its foundation in 1998.

The Well Test Club holds annual technological symposia on petroleum business topical issues, such as
- “Oil recovery increase" (2002)
- “Oil and gas production stimulation” (2003)
- “New technologies of oil field exploitation” (2004)
- “New technologies of exploitation and oil recovery increase” (2005)
- “New resource-saving technologies of subsurface management and oil recovery increase” (2006).
The papers presented at the symposia are published as books of collected works and on CDs.

The 6th International Technological Symposium “New technologies of exploitation
and oil recovery increase” is scheduled for March 2007.
